Description of Job:
Candidate will perform Electrical/ mechanical control circuit design.
Candidate will work with a team of technically focused engineers, designers and technicians.
Candidate will perform electrical circuit trouble shooting.
Candidate will provide input into developing technical specs & product profiles.
Candidate will assist in development of DVP&R in support of VPI projects
Candidate should fully understand design function of current product line and troubleshoot field issues
Candidate will perform low voltage electrical equipment design
Candidate will diagnose Software and hardware problems and effectively communicate fixes to field personnel
Candidate will perform software testing and test program development
Candidate will use 6 sigma tools in the development process
Candidate will provide support to manufacturing operations for current switches
Candidate will interface with suppliers and cross functional departments to support design and development of new and existing product
Candidate will participate in periodic component FMEAs
Candidate should be capable to work on Electrical system components like circuit breakers, Relays, Genset control interface, Switches etc..
Candidate will harness routing for the PLC, add-on cards, Genset controls, Relay cards etc
Desired:
Candidate should have a Six Sigma Green Belt – Training / Certification, which will be an advantage
Candidate should have knowledge of 3 phase power system concepts and components such as generators, breakers, transfer switches, and protection relays
Candidate should have knowledge of paralleling methods
Candidate should have the understanding of basic codes and standards (UL, NEC, IEC)
